Harvest Moon Mirror

I offer this corn moon mirror as a blessing of abundant goodness and hope for a fertile future of healing and protection for our Mother Earth.

Acid etched copper that formed the turquoise patina. The kernels colors were generated through flaming with a torch. The corn silk has been engraved. Blue ink infused with the Rifuah flower essence used in healing amulets fills the areas between the kernels. Corn stalks and kernels have been covered with translucent amber shellac. A mihrab womb forms the shape of the copperwork. It is backed in ¾” fir and a hanging wire. The bevelled glass mirror is 6” in diameter.
